Decks became interactive
A deck used to be a stack of slides somebody talked over. Now it is something the reader moves through alone, and that changes what has to be built into it.
I have made thousands of decks. To brand, to raise, to sell, to prepare a company for acquisition. The count was never the edge. The storytelling was the edge.
What changed is the medium. A deck used to be a PDF you emailed and hoped someone opened. Now a deck is a thing that moves: animation, real interaction, built in HTML, presented live and refined in the room.
When the story can move, the conversation changes. You are not narrating slides. You are walking someone through a working idea. That is a different kind of persuasion, and it is how we help founders raise and position.
